Peppers
Main Pepper Page
Basic Growing Tips:- Use a light soil with a ph between 6-7.
- Start indoors about 4 weeks before the last frost in your zone.
- Space plants at least 1 foot apart.
- Magnesium is mandatory for growing peppers. Epsom salts are a suitable (and cheap) option for amending the soil.
- Most peppers will be harvestable in 60-90 days.
Tip: Consider using any pepper variety to complete the following Salsa! The more diverse set of peppers you can grow in the garden, the more options you can have for this great common condiment to taste refreshingly new.
