     Organic Gardening is a very hot topic in the current day and age, and has lots of definitions and issues in and of itself. For the official purposes of the Garden Wiki, this article shall serve two purposes.

     1) As a main page to link organic gardening articles to if/as they're formed on the wiki. These articles need not be about how to grow a specific plant in an organic manner. They can be more general such as Organic Pest Control or Organic Fertilizers.
     2) As a starting point to lay out some basics of organic gardening and begin discussion or debate.

Misc Comments on Organic Gardening

Organic gardening should be discussed in the forum, as there are many ideas as to what it is, and many hidden pit falls. For example, what's considered organic is often different from location to organization and by product. For example, an organic farm I worked on had carefully followed guidelines for several years by not using any sort of non-approved fertilizers or methods on the premises so that they could legally get certified as being organic. If anyone is wondering why there isn't much here about "organic gardening" the answer is simply because no one has taken up the challenge of trying to define it yet. A lot of people tend to have different ideas of what it really is, or if it should even be relevant. Discussion about the matter would be nice to see.
